Field Technicians needed for Miami, Tampa, and Washington DC Area
Description: Field technicians work with project managers to assemble, configure, install, and commission geotechnical or structural monitoring systems. Field Techs need strong communication and organizational skills to handle day to day schedules, inventory documentation, and regular interactions with customers.
Experience & Skills: Positions are available for both entry level and experienced technicians with education levels from technical high school through all levels of college. Technicians must be technology minded and have basic knowledge in one or two of the following with an interest and desire to add more skills.
- Fabrication, industrial maintenance
- Commercial construction
- Wireless devices, survey equipment, telemetry, field instrumentation
- Experience working with scripting languages such as Javascript and Python
- Low-voltage electrical for instruments and loggers
- Mechanical / electro-mechanical systems experience
Attitude: Technicians must be self-starters, good at working with others, work well in the field, and able create order out of chaos.
Travel: This position requires travel with occasional night and weekend work. Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.

Project Managers and Coordinators
Description: Project managers & coordinators work with sales, engineers, and technicians to develop solutions for our customers. The PM writes proposals, monitoring plans, and then works with instrument technicians to install, commission, and maintain the systems through the project life cycle. An important part of the job is maintaining good communications and relations with customers and sub-contractors. PMs need excellent written and oral communication and strong organizational skills.
Experience & Skills: PMs must have experience in construction, commercial installations or industrial projects. PMs must be technology minded, enjoy hands-on field activities, and possess strong organizational skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills. Project coordinators will also have experience but less extensive. Skills for either position should include one or two of the following, combined with an interest and desire for further development.
- Civil, Geotechnical, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Land Surveying, commercial construction
- Mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Instrumentation systems, Remote measurements
- Experience working with scripting languages such as Javascript and Python
- Electrical, Fabrication, Industrial maintenance
- Sales, Business development
